Here's the poem penned especially for our reunion by Lisa Hendrix Johnson. Thanks Lisa!
Can you believe it? Thirty years have come and gone.
Sometimes it seems like a year or two or maybe three; but as we look around, we can tell that it just can’t be.
Some have black hair, some have brown, and some have gray; but after all, it really doesn't matter anyway?
We have a lot of memories to share; some happy, some sad, but at the end of the night we will find that it was good to leave our cares behind.
Let’s not forget those that have passed on to another home—so everybody have a good time; more memories we will make, lots of pictures we will take.
We all know that life goes by in the blink of an eye; so as we say goodbye at the end of the night, we look forward to the time that we reunite.
One thing is true for you and me, Rebels of the Class of '78 we will always be!!
